Who wants to join me?

Part of what I’m trying to do is get over my fear of exercise.

Yep.  You read that right. FEAR of exercise.  I hated PE, was uncoordinated until much later in life, and grew up in a climate where girls did not play sports or do anything considered less than “feminine.”

I also had a very fearful mother who spent a lot of time worrying about “wearing out” or “messing up” her own body.

This year, one of my goals is to move more and strengthen my body.  It’s a temple, you know, and it needs to be cared for.

So how about this?  Honestly, I don’t know that I can even do 10 sit-ups, but I can try.  And I do a little bit each day until I can do more.
